Introduction
Dr. Ayesha Saleem has done her MBBS From Sindh medical college Karachi where she passed out as among the ‘first top ten best outgoing students in the year 1996 with distinctions in surgery and gynecology and three certificates of merit in MBBS
She pursued her higher education at the prestigious Jinnah postgraduate medical center Karachi, from where she has done her FCPS in urology on the first attempt in March 2002, from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Pakistan and stood out as the first female who cleared the exam of FCPS (Urology) in Pakistan.

Dr.Ayesha Saleem has done her mini-fellowship in the field of urogynaecology from kk women’s and Children’s hospital Singapore as well as King’s college hospital London.
Academic Achievements
Dr. Ayesha Saleem has presented scientific papers at various urology conferences.
Dr. Ayesha Saleem has operated on more than 1000 patients of stress urinary incontinence by the latest technique called tension-free vaginal tape as well as laparoscopic burch colposuspension and nearly 2500 patients of pelvic organ prolapse with outstanding results.
Dr.Ayesha Saleem’s main area of interest is female urology and urogynecology with a special focus on the latest techniques of treatment of lower urinary tract disorders in females
She is the first female urologist in Pakistan. She is one of the first female urologists/urogynecologists in Pakistan to offer the latest surgical technique of TVT [mid-urethral sling] and laparoscopic Burch colposupension for female stress urinary incontinence.
